1981 Delorean Two Door Sports Car

         I bought this car because of a couple reasons. The first reason is the short history and limited production of the Delorean car. The second reason is that a Delorean played the main role in the Back to the Future movies. Third reason is that this is a pretty Delorean because it is painted. It is a factory authorized project paint job. It is NOT an aftermarket paint job. It is one of less than thirty Delorean cars that were painted as part of a Special Paint Project that John Delorean was working with his brother (Charles) and his nephew Mark (Charles son) and a major paint manufacturing company. These cars were all painted before they were put on a Show Room to be sold. I have the original window sticker showing the car was sold by the Delorean Cadillac Dealer in Lakewood, Ohio and signed papers addressed to me by Mark Delorean, stating that his was one of the cars that were part of the special paint project of Delorean Motors and that were authorized by his Uncle John. This car has won the AACA Junior 1st and AACA Senior Award.
